Hydra's Story

Meet Hydra!
At just over three months old, Hydra is the biggest of her Mystical Creatures Litter, and she’s got a big heart to match! This gorgeous German Shepherd mix is full of sweetness, snuggles, and a gentle, loving spirit.

Named after the many-headed mythical creature, you might expect Hydra to be a handful, but she’s actually an absolute sweetheart. Calm, affectionate, and wonderfully cuddly, Hydra is happiest when she’s curled up next to you for a nap or lounging peacefully in the sunshine.

She’s been very well socialized with both other dogs and children, and she’s already showing signs of being a confident, friendly companion. Hydra doesn’t bark or cry, and her calm nature makes her feel wise beyond her puppy months.

Hydra’s mom, Nessie was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where too many dogs were living on a single property. Just a few days after arriving, Nessie gave birth to her magical little litter—including Hydra.

We expect Hydra to be around 70 pounds full grown, so she’s looking for a home that’s ready for a big, lovable companion who still thinks she’s a lap dog.

If you're looking for a gentle, loyal pup with a mythical name and a heart as big as her paws, Hydra could be your perfect match.
