Hyde's Story

Hyde has been waiting patiently for his forever family, and we think it’s finally his time to shine! This handsome, athletic boy is the perfect mix of goofy lovebug and smart student. He has been working hard on his training with Pawsitive Vibes and has made huge progress—he’s eager to please, loves to learn, and picks up new skills quickly (sometimes a little too quickly—he’s clever enough to outsmart the training games!).

Hyde is an energetic guy who thrives with daily walks, backyard fetch, and the chance to run full tilt—he especially loves his playdates at Play Unleashed where he can zoom to his heart’s content. Once his energy is spent, he transforms into a total couch potato, happily cuddling up, watching tv and melting into his people.

He’s house-trained, crate-trained overnight, knows his basic commands, and is food-motivated which makes training both fun and rewarding. While Hyde is still working on his leash manners and excitement when spotting squirrels or rabbits (they’re just too interesting!), his improvements have been amazing thanks to consistent training.

Hyde’s ideal home will be active and patient—an acreage, a hiking buddy, or someone who loves long walks would be perfect for him. He’d do well with older kids and could live with another dog, as long as introductions are slow and positive. Most of all, he needs a family that sees what we see: a smart, goofy, affectionate boy who has worked so hard to become his best self and is so ready to give his whole heart to his people.

After more than a year of waiting, Hyde deserves his happily-ever-after. Could that be with you?

Hyde was born approximately January 2024 and is a large dog.

His adoption fee is $475.
