Huxley's Story

Huxley is a 10-year-old dog with the softest soul and the sweetest spirit. From the moment you meet him, it’s clear that he is a gentle, kind-hearted boy who simply enjoys being close to people.

When Huxley arrived at the shelter, he needed some medical care, including surgery to correct painful entropion eyelids. Thanks to that treatment, his eyes are now feeling much better and he’s able to enjoy the world more comfortably.

Huxley’s early life appears to have been a difficult one, but what stands out most about him is how incredibly sweet he remains despite it all. He carries himself with a quiet, calm nature and seems grateful for every bit of kindness he receives.

We may never know how he made it through the ice storm we experienced this winter, but we are very grateful that he found his way to us.

Now Huxley is ready for the life he deserves, one filled with warmth, comfort, and love. This gentle senior still has so much heart to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, sweet-natured friend.
