Meet Huntress – Your Playful, Loving Sidekick!<br/><br/>4 months old and weighing 26 lbs, Huntress is a bright, bouncy sweetheart with a heart just as big as her zoomies. This girl is pure joy wrapped up in a petite, athletic package — always ready for a game of fetch, a yard full of sticks to discover, or a cuddle session with her favorite people. <br/><br/>Huntress has been blossoming in foster care and continues to show what a loving, adaptable pup she is. She recently met new adults and did great — cautious at first, but friendly and curious once she had a moment to warm up. She also lives with cats and, while she can be a bit overly enthusiastic and eager to play, she shows no aggression — just inquisitive puppy energy. With continued guidance and proper introductions, she could absolutely thrive in a cat-savvy home.<br/><br/>She adores kids and has done wonderfully with her foster’s 12-year-old daughter — playing, cuddling, and happily soaking up attention. Huntress would do wonderfully with a family who has the energy to toss a ball, engage her playful spirit, and include her in daily life. She truly loves being part of the action and tends to attach closely to her people.<br/><br/>Huntress is making steady progress with potty training (occasional accidents still happen) and is somewhat crate-trained. She’s proud to report that she recently made it through her first quiet night in her crate! She may still bark or howl when left alone, as she’s working through some separation anxiety, but she is improving and will thrive with consistency and reassurance.<br/><br/>On leash, she may pull occasionally or resist going out at first, but once she’s outside, she does great! She would be happy in either a house or apartment, as long as she gets daily exercise and outdoor access. A fenced yard would be a bonus (she can clear baby gates with impressive skill!), but it’s not required.<br/><br/>Her confidence is growing, and her playful personality shines brighter every day. Her biggest needs right now are continued potty training support, structure with crate time, and a family committed to helping her mature into the amazing dog she’s meant to be!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, slightly goofy best friend who will make you laugh, keep you active, and love you endlessly — Huntress is ready to meet you.
