Hunter's Story

He is a sweet boy. Not sure why this keeps happening, but there can be NO COLLARS on ANY ANIMAL in the home with him. Twice he has gotten his teeth caught up in another dog's collar and it has turned into a traumatic event. Maybe if he had some training it would help. He is very mouthy in play. He likes to grab the other dogs with his mouth and pull on them. Never puncturing their skin or hurting them, but I think that that's why he was getting his teeth caught in the collars, because he likes to drag things around with his mouth. He has gotten along with every dog that I've put in with them, but he might do better off in a home where he is the only dog, with a submissive dog or he would need training to lose that behavior. Unknown how he is with cats or kids. Neutered, microchipped and fully vetted.

K9 Rescue and Sanctuary Inc's Adoption Policy
To adopt through our rescue is a process. It involves the following: 1. Completing an online application. This does not obligate you to adopt a dog. I review all applications received and pick the best fit. I'm not always able to respond to every application. You are welcome to message our Facebook page or email me to follow up on the status of your application. https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/53440/generic 2. Participating in a video interview. Please send me a friend's request on my personal page so that we can do this via Messenger ? https://www.facebook.com/jenna.crowley.1?mibextid=ZbWKwL 3. Meet and greet here, in the adopters home, or at a park or other acceptable location (this is a good time to introduce the possible new addition to any existing dogs already in the home and young children if applicable). Meet and greet will always take place at the adopters home unless there are extenuating circumstances such as distance. NOTE: Current pets must be spayed and/or neutered, and up to date on rabies and core vaccines (unless a medical condition applies).
