Hunter's Story
Meet Hunter!

Hunter is a Husky that is around 3 years old. He found his way to us as an emergency surrender due to his owner not being able to properly care for him. Hunter was under-socialized up until this point and can have his guard up when meeting new people, but is heading in the right direction after working with staff. He may require more than one meet and greet to allow him to warm up on his terms. Hunter will need a patient adopter who is experienced with these behaviors and while breed experience is not required, it is helpful. However, once Hunter warms up to his friends, he comes out of his shell and becomes very playful! He is treat motivated and knows the "sit" command. When he is out in the play yard, he can be independent and sniffs around. Despite his independence, he likes to keep a close eye on his humans to make sure they stay close by. Due to Hunter still learning some of his manners, he would do best in an adult-only home.

If you are interested in adopting Hunter, please fill out an adoption application on our website.

Dog Application: https://lebanonhumane.org/dog-adoption-application/

PA Kennel License 3606- Myerstown
