Hunter #44's Story

Anyone who gives a home to this sweet, gorgeous and goofy guy is a lucky human. Hunter #44 is 1-2 years old and 75 pounds of love wrapped in a beautiful white fur coat. He lives happily in his foster home with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. He loves them all and they love him. He was somewhat timid when he first arrived in his foster home. He wasn't sure what was happening, but once he figured it out he never looked back. He is crate trained and sleeps in a kennel every night and while his foster mom is at work during the day. He kennels himself, having learned from the other dogs and always gets a treat when he does. After the first couple of days, he has not had one accident in the house. He is a smart boy and a quick learner. He will give you paw and will reach out with his paw when he wants you to pay attention to him. Occasionally he is reluctant to leave his kennel and I just reach in and lightly touch his collar and he comes on out. It can be a bit of an overwhelming circus here but he has adapted so well. This boy is a gem in every way.

For additional information about Hunter #44 please email Deb Cook Keavy: deb.cook.keavy@labs4rescue.org

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full-service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
