Huey's Story
Say hello to Huey! This handsome boy came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Department. Huey was adopted for some time, but was recently returned through no fault of his own due to housing issues.

When Huey came to us, he did not have any manners, and had a hard time adjusting to shelter life. However, he has been in formal training with our Behavior Department to help improve his skills. Huey is going to need a home that will be willing to continue with his positive reinforcement training, while giving him plenty of mental and physical activity each day. It is recommended that adopters have rottweiler/doberman experience, and are comfortable handling large breed dogs. Huey needs to go into a home with only adults and no other pets, so that he can get all of the love and attention for himself. Huey can be a little nervous in new situations and will need a family who will give him the time and patience that he needs.

If you are interested in Huey, please fill out an application!
Fill out an application --> ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped!

Animal Friends
562 Camp Horne Road
Pittsburgh, PA 15237
Kennel License #: 1042
