Hi! Im Huey! <br/><br/>Im 2. Which is basically a big kid... but sometimes the world still feels really, really big.<br/><br/>New people? Theyre kinda spooky. I like to watch first and make sure youre nice before I come say hi. I hope thats okay. I just havent learned that all humans are safe yet.<br/><br/>Now... snacks? Ohhhh, I understand snacks. If you have treats, I suddenly become a very good listener. I try really hard, especially when theres food involved. I think learning is actually pretty fun when there are cookies.<br/><br/>If you already have a nice dog at home, that would make me so happy! I love watching confident dogs because they teach me what all the weird human stuff means. If they say, Hey Huey, this is okay, I usually decide theyre right.<br/><br/>Im really hoping for a family that will keep showing me the world instead of protecting me from it. I still have so many adventures to discover, and with a patient human by my side, I know my confidence will keep growing. Every walk, every new place, every kind stranger is another chance for me to realize the world isnt as scary as I once thought.<br/><br/>Once I know youre my person, Ill be right there beside you, asking for love and making up for all the time I spent being shy.<br/><br/>Im not looking for perfect people.<br/><br/>Im looking for patient ones.<br/><br/>The kind who smile when I take one brave step... then another... and celebrate all the little victories with me.<br/><br/>I promise Im worth waiting for.
