Hudson's Story
Hudson was found as a stray in the Modesto (CA) area and was taken to the Stanislaus Animal Shelter on July 31.

The shelter staff described Hudson as "loving, leans into affection, knows basic commands, is easy-going, calm, takes treats nicely, and appears to be potty trained". He was temp tested with other dogs, and he was "generally neutral, although he was a bit too curious about a small dog in the beginning, but didn't demonstrate any concerning behavior".

Sadly, like most Senior dogs, Hudson was constantly overlooked, and by August 29, he was placed on the shelter's euthanasia "Red List".

Thankfully, a kind Samaritan offered to foster Hudson. Kris picked him up with one day to spare. He did well riding in a car and while getting a bath. He has shown no interest in the foster's small dog or kitties and appears to have no guarding behaviors. He also has a "soft mouth," meaning he takes food and treats nicely.

We will update his bio as we get to know Hudson better.

FOSTERED IN STOCKTON
