Huck's Story

Huck was found as a stray with his sister in a rural town we help. A kind person picked them up, and asked us for help. Huck has been with one of our fosters since January while we had his veterinary care completed. He has shown us that he is a good boy who just needed a chance. Now, he is ready to find his forever person.

Huck is a very sweet pup. He is in a foster home with other dogs, and he does great with all of them. He is friendly with the cats in his foster home too. He is eager to please people and learns quickly.
He is house trained, crate trained and loves walks.

Huck is 8 months old and weighs 28 pounds. We think he’s a Weimaraner and Cattle Dog mix. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Huck can arrive in Dewitt, New York on 3/28.
