Hub's Story
Hub is a 10-year-old mixed breed with the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes. His past wasn’t easy; he spent his whole life outdoors and arrived to us in rough shape: emaciated, covered in ear mites, and suffering from a painful double ear infection. Thanks to our wonderful vet and the care of our team, Hub has gotten the fresh start he deserves, and he’s blossomed into the happiest senior boy.

Hub is completely deaf, likely from the damage of those untreated infections, but he doesn’t let it slow him down. What he loves is simple: soaking up the sunshine for hours, and getting as much love and attention from people as possible. He greets everyone with a big, wagging tail and warms hearts instantly.

Hub is easygoing with some other dogs and cats, and he’d do well in a home with respectful children. He still needs to gain some weight as part of his recovery, but with a little patience and care, he’ll be thriving in no time.

This sweet senior has so much love left to give and deserves to spend his golden years in a home full of comfort, kindness, and sunshine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will remind you every day of the power of resilience and love, Hub is your guy.

If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out our application, and someone will be in touch with you shortly!
https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/
