Howie

Howie is about 5 years old and weighs in at 43 pounds (we’re pretty sure a good portion of that is his big, adorable head).<br/><br/>He has clearly been through a lot, but you’d never know it from his demeanor. He has the most smooch-able sweet face and kind, gentle soul. He walks super chill on a leash, takes treats softly, and waits patiently (with a few cute little grunts of anticipation). <br/><br/>Howie is currently being treated for ear infections and doesn’t seem to hear very well at the moment. Once he’s finished his antibiotics and his ears clear up, we’ll know more. What he may lack in hearing, he makes up for with sweetness and heart though.<br/><br/>We also believe Howie is housetrained—he consistently holds it in his kennel until he’s taken outside.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a tender, easygoing companion with a big head and an even bigger heart, Howie's waiting!
