Howey

Howey is a young cattle dog/lab mix. He also goes by Howard. He was dumped along with his mother on a busy highway. He is crate trained and housebroken. He will come when called and go straight into his kennel. He knows sit. He responds well to no. He will also sit even without a treat. He is very food motivated. He’s leash trained. He often lays on his back and loves to snuggle. If I move in bed, he'll grunt at me like an old man. He loves to play, especially ball. He is dog friendly. A dog in the foster home is 120 lbs and Howey isn’t intimidated. He is a little too rough with dogs under 10 lbs. He wants to play with them and doesn't understand his size. He plays rough with other dogs. He loves a baby pool. He ignores the cat and chickens. He's just not interested. He sleeps through the night. I believe he will do best with a daily walk or activity. He's a good combination of active and a calm dog. Mom is a 38 lb blue heeler. Dad is unknown. He is 8 months old. He was 28 lbs on November 13th. He has had two sets of vaccinations. He doesn't need any vaccinations for a year. He was neutered and microchipped. He had a great exam. He was wormed with panacur. He’s up to date on nexguard plus (heartworm and flea prevention). He’s located in Tylertown Mississippi but we adopt out of state.
