Are you looking for a medium sized lovebug to be your companion, look no further than sweet Hovis!<br/><br/>This 2-year-old, 40lb, housed trained gentleman is a sweetheart that loves to cuddle on the couch. He has soft fur and adores getting his daily rub downs. Outside he will get a burst of the zoomies and show off his speed. He enjoys playing with other dogs and ignores cats so he would be great in any household. He is crate trained and quiet as a mouse all night. He can be shy with new things, so he’ll need his new family to give him time to adjust. Hovis is heartworm positive and will be starting his treatment soon. We would love for him to get into his forever home before he starts the process and that would make him a foster to adopt situation while Hero Rescue covers the cost of the treatments. Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
