Dustin and Hopper are both approximately 4 months old, neutered male, Chihuahua mixes; both Dustin and Hopper weigh approximately 9lbs, are fully vaccinated, including for Rabies, and are microchipped. These spunky brothers have kept us on our toes for the last few months, but now they’re ready to find their very own forever homes! Dustin and Hopper are both very playful with new people, once they get over a little initial shyness. They both have a lot of puppy energy, and once they get going out in the play yard, they are a blast to watch as they chase after each other through the puppy tunnel and all around the yard! When they’re not rumblin and tumblin with each other, they’re looking for some attention from their favorite humans, and there’s been no shortage of eager puppy snugglers here at Haven to dote on them and give them lots of love and attention; they are actually quite used to being held, and carried, and snuggled tight, so they are very affectionate and loving when they’ve burnt off that puppy energy, and there’s nothing they love more than curling up in your lap and relaxing for a quick nap! Now that Dustin and Hopper are fully vaccinated, we are working on walking them on leashes, with collars and also with harnesses, and they are getting the hang of it pretty quickly. They would definitely benefit from organized obedience training to help them with socialization, and to help them bond with their new family!
