Hopper's Story
Meet Hopper, an adorable and playful cattle dog mix who was discovered as a stray in July 2025 by a rescue partner in Mexico. He arrived with a neck wound that required care, but after receiving full medical attention, he was brought to San Diego in search of his forever home. At around 2 years old and weighing around 40 pounds, Hopper has likely spent most of his young life outdoors. He is currently honing his leash and potty training skills, showing great progress with crate training and with a consistent routine does amazing with his potty skills! <br/><br/>Hopper has learned sit, touch, and come! He's a fun, smart and rambunctious pup! With a lively spirit and a mischievous nature, Hopper embodies the energetic qualities of a cattle dog, always eager to play and run. After his bursts of energy, he enjoys curling up on the couch for a cozy nap. He has shown good social behavior during outings, such as walks and visits to coffee shops, and while he may need occasional leash corrections. <br/><br/>Hopper loves his canine companions and is always ready to keep up during playtime.
