Hopper's Story

What a perfect sit Hopper has, and those dreamy, soulful eyes... He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 30 pounds.

Meet Hopper, a bundle of wiggly, playful and joyful spirit! This young boy is an outgoing pup who just can't get enough closeness and cuddles, especially if it includes sneaking in your lap! Hopper would thrive in an active home with a family that can provide structure, some basic training, and plenty of love. He's still working on his manners, so he's looking for a family that can help him become the best boy he can be. Hopper is just a sweetie who craves closeness and will be your shadow, what a great best friend. He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. He can't wait for a family to love him, he really hopes someone comes to meet him.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hopper would love to meet them. He has a loose body when meeting new dogs that moves into an "all in" enthusiastic engagement. He will probably need the other dog to set limits for him.

If you are interested in Hopper and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

.
