Hope (URGENT FOSTER NEEDED)'s Story
**URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR HOPE**

Hope is a German Shepherd with a name that fits her story. A couple of years ago, she was saved from the euthanasia list at Stanislaus Shelter and given a second chance at life. She is a loving, playful and loyal dog. Today, she’s once again in need of a hero.

Hope’s current owner loves her dearly but is facing declining health and disability and is no longer able to provide the level of medical or physical care Hope requires. Hope is currently battling severe fur loss caused by allergies and a thyroid condition. She is under veterinary care and on oral medication, along with regular medicated baths to help her heal and grow her coat back. With consistency and a calm routine, her prognosis is very positive.

The rescue will cover the cost of her medical care until she is healthy and ready for official adoption. What Hope truly needs is a stable foster or adoptive home that can provide consistent care, patience, and lots of gentle encouragement as she continues her recovery.

Despite her medical challenges, Hope’s spirit shines through. She does well with older children and may be okay with other dogs with very slow, structured introductions. She can be vocal when first meeting other animals and is not recommended for a home with cats.

Hope is ready for a soft place to land, steady hands to guide her healing, and a heart willing to walk alongside her as she blooms back into herself. If you’ve ever wanted to make a life-changing difference for a dog who truly deserves it, Hope may be waiting for you.

If you’re interested in fostering Hope, please please fill out our foster application: www.betterworldrescue.org/foster-application All medical care, behavioral training, and vacation coverage is provided by the rescue for fosters.
