Hope's Story

Meet Hope!

Hope is a 3-5 year old chocolate lab mix weighing around 45-50 lbs. She spent her whole life in an outdoor pen full of trash and repeatedly bred. She was left behind after the male dogs and people moved away, and that is how Hope came to be with us.

Hope is a sweet and silly girl. She is what I'd call a lovey-dovey dog! Once you shower her with pets and affection, she literally melts at your feet or into your legs. Now that she knows what it's like to feel love, she can't get enough! Hope is very dog friendly, but we are unsure about cats. She loves all people including children. She is also very treat motivated so training would go smoothly!

Hope is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Unfortunately she is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. Heartworms are not contagious and are contracted through infected mosquitoes when not on a heartworm preventative. We are happy to assist Hope's future adopter with heartworm treatments if needed. To meet Hope, send us an email at notoriousdogrescue@gmail.com
