Hope's Story
Meet Hope🤍

Hope didn’t always have an easy beginning. When she first arrived at rescue, she was in the middle of delivering her puppies. One sadly didn’t survive, but her three remaining babies grew up healthy and have all found their forever homes. Now, at last, it’s Hope’s turn.

Her name used to be Lumi, but she was given the name Hope because that’s exactly what she needed—and exactly what she still believes in.

Hope is a very sweet, gentle girl who loves being close to her people. She adores pets, happily rolls over for belly rubs (one of her favorite things!), enjoys playtime, and is just as content relaxing quietly by your side. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and does well living with other dogs and cats. She also enjoys walks, playing outside, and is very treat-motivated, which makes her a wonderful student as she continues to grow in confidence.

Because life hasn’t always been kind to her, Hope can be shy and a little fearful when meeting new people. She may bark at first—not because she’s mean, but because she’s unsure. With patience, reassurance, and proper introductions, she settles in and lets her loving personality shine through.

Hope would do best in an adult-only home where she can keep building trust at her own pace. She has already come so far and is learning every day that the world can be a safe and loving place.

All she needs now is someone to believe in her. ✨
Could you be the one to give Hope the forever home she’s been waiting for?

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please fill out the application at the link below ⬇️: ✨PLEASE SELECT LOUISVILLE AS THE LOCATION OF THE PET✨ https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAFK/Dog *Adoption fee of $300 applies which covers the spay/neuter, updated shots, microchipping, deworming and any other medical care*
