Hope's Story
I'm Hope, a beautiful chocolate-brown terrier mix with a fabulous ear-to-ear smile - especially if I have a ball to play with!

I came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services, where I arrived emaciated and in urgently poor condition.

With love and care from the HSYC team, I'm a healthy, playful girl now. I was adopted and returned, and have now spent much of my adult life at the shelter. I'm long overdue to find my forever home! My estimated birth date is September 2017, and I'm about 70 pounds.

I'm a favorite of the HSYC staff and volunteers, and I love when they take me on field trips for shopping or a good hike. I'm a terrific car rider, and I'm always grateful to grab a burger for lunch while we're out and about!

I dearly love my walks and hope I can find an active forever family that enjoys getting out with me. I'm a medium-size, strong girl and need a dog-savvy home where I'm the only pet.

I love to play with toys and cuddle with my people. If you're looking for a loving, beautiful one-and-only, come meet me!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.

Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.html

Thank you for your support.
