HOPE....she's the Life of the Party and the Shelter's Little Helper

Some dogs just have a presence about them... and Hope is one of those dogs.

At just 44 pounds and about 11⁄2 years old, Hope is a sturdy little package of personality. She's playful, expressive, and keeps the staff smiling every day. Around the shelter she's known as our "helper dog" because she thrives in playgroups and helps bring other dogs out of their shells.

But here's the honest part of Hope's story.

Hope has been with us for 292 days.
That's a long time for a young dog with so much life to live.

Hope is still learning that humans can always be trusted. Because of that, she will need a home with another confident, friendly dog who can show her the ropes. Having a dog buddy gives Hope the confidence she needs to open up.

Once that trust clicks... it's game over.

You'll have a homie for life. The kind of dog that bonds deeply and becomes your shadow.

Hope would do best with:
* Another friendly dog in the home

What you'll get in return is a loyal, goofy, fun-loving dog who just needed someone to believe in her.

292 days is long enough.
