Hope's Story

Meet Hope

Hope came to the rescue in extremely poor shape — painfully thin, with what little hair she had matted and neglected. But with love, care, and patience, this approximately 3-year-old Poodle has truly blossomed into a beautiful girl. She still has a few hurdles to overcome from her past, but her spirit is strong, and her progress has been incredible.

Hope is a good-natured, active dog who loves to play. She gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle way of deflecting if another dog is too rough or unsure. She feels most comfortable with another calm, playful dog in the home and really benefits from having a canine companion.

She’s thoughtful around small dogs and doesn’t bully or overwhelm them. Hope is also good with cats, though she may give chase outdoors, and a rough or reactive cat could spark her prey drive.

Hope is house-trained and will need a little time, patience, and consistency as she adjusts to a new home and routine. She loves toys — especially antlers, durable chews, and anything made for serious chewers. Bully sticks are her favorite, though they go fast!

After all she’s been through, Hope is ready for a family who will continue showing her what love feels like. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a resilient heart, Hope may be the perfect match.
