My name is Hope and I am about 1 years old. I was named Hope because I was picked up off of the streets and sent to a shelter where no one claimed me. The day after I arrived in rescue I broke with pneumonia and was pretty sick but now I am doing great. Hope is for healing and new beginnings and I epitomize both!<br/><br/>I am a very sweet and loving young lady with lots of energy but I also have the ability to chill out and snuggle - it&#39;s one of my favorite things! I am in foster with other dogs and get a long well but I cannot go to a home with cats or tiny dogs as I am too much for them and have a high prey drive.<br/><br/>I have not been taught any manners yet in life but I am willing to learn. My foster mom is starting to work with me and my forever family will be asked to commit to taking me for classes. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted.We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes.Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall.
