Honey's Story

DOB: July 26th 2025

Weight: 16lbs December 24

The more confident Honey has become the more I’m seeing her big personality despite her small size. At 5 months old, she’s 16lbs, and is about the same size as my cat ☺️ She learned my 4 pets’ boundaries within a few days; gives space to my senior dog with aches and pains, but is no pushover when playing with my own much larger overly enthusiastic foster fail.

She knows the cats are in charge and backs off immediately when they are done playing with her. She uses a potty grass patch by the door, most days it’s too cold for her little paws to stay out long enough to do her job, which can take some time. She’s great with my 10 year old autistic daughter, can’t get enough of my cats and dogs, very trainable, wanting to please her human, highly food motivated. Haven’t done a lot of walks on a leash yet, waiting for milder weather. She’s just as sweet as she is sassy, and a little shy, but also opinionated with a big bark that we’re working to keep in check! She does not bark in her kennel, and kennels overnight and when we’re not home. Come meet her, try not to fall in love with her wiggly butt energy and shy eyes.

Adoption fee is $495 ($200 will be returned upon proof of spay). She is microchipped, dewormed, and current on vaccines.
