Honey's Story

Honey lives up to her name—sweet, lovable, and impossible not to adore. This 33-pound beauty from South Carolina is a kennel favorite thanks to her joyful personality and affectionate nature. She greets everyone like a long-lost friend, full of tail wags, hugs, and kisses, and she's always ready to make a new best friend.

Honey loves to run, play, and romp with other dogs, but she's just as happy soaking up attention from her people. She's a great mix of fun and cuddly—whether she's hopping along happily on a walk or leaning in for belly rubs and ear scratches. Her soft coat, adorable floppy ears (sometimes one up, one down!), and a little white patch on her neck make her just as cute as she is charming.

She already knows “sit,” walks nicely on leash, and is eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved (which she loves!). Honey is smart and attentive, and with a little guidance, she'll pick up new skills quickly. She enjoys taking in the world around her on walks, stopping to sniff and occasionally letting out a bark to say hello.

Honey understands that outside is the place to go potty, she is a polite greeter of canine friends, and she is an enthusiastic playmate of dogs and humans alike. She rides well in the car, loves adventures, and is always ready to go wherever you are. She would make a great hiking buddy and would love a pup cup after a strenuous workout with you! (Check out the video below of her enjoying her FIRST pup cup!)

Honey is a wonderful, happy young dog who would thrive in a foster or forever home where she can continue to learn, play, and be loved. She's ready to brighten someone's life—don't miss your chance to meet her!

PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC and northern PA region
