♥ Apply to Adopt Complete our adoption application. All adopters must be at least 21. ♥ Phone interview An application coordinator will reach out to discuss your new canine family member ♥ Reference Checks Volunteer contacts your veterinarian (if applicable) and personal references. All resident dogs must be spayed/neutered and current with Rabies, DHPP (distemper-combo vaccine), and monthly flea, tick, heartworm prevention unless medical reasons prohibit. ♥ Family meeting All human and canine family members must meet the new dog at either an event or a private meeting. ♥ Finalize the Adoption Sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee which covers: • spay / neuter surgery • microchip • flea, tick, heartworm prevention • wellness exam • age appropriate vaccines All Pawfect Match dogs go home with a collar, leash, and a Pawfect Match tag.
