Honey Comb's Story

80 Pounds
4 years old

Very sweet girl looking for her forever home. She has a very dominant personality and may not do well with other dogs. She gets protective over things with other dogs and it could turn into a fight. With time, patience and professional training this could turn around.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably.
Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
