Honey's Story
This pretty girl is Honey and she is a 1 year old, Shepherd/Lab mix that is about 45lbs who has a very sad story. At only a few months old and a mere 8lbs, she was dumped at the Lancaster Shelter, but then adopted. Fast forward to late 2026 and she found herself in the shelter again as an "owner surrender." Honey was scared and her time was running out. She needed help in getting out. When we heard her story, we knew we had to bring her into our foundation and teamwork made this happen. Honey is now with our amazing trainer who is helping her build her confidence after all that she has been through. We see that she is so smart and so sweet. She needs time to trust, but once she does, she is all about the love! We are looking for an adult only home for her with another sweet dog that will be her best friend and owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Honey would love a safe and secure backyard to run and play in! This precious pup has had such a rough start to her young life that we promised her that we would find her the best forever home out there! She will make such a wonderful addition to some lucky family!

Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020
