Meet Honey Bee
Meet Honey Bee, a stunningly gorgeous five-year-old, 55 lb. lab/pit mix who came to Connecticut from South Carolina after being found as a stray. She was just hours away from being euthanized before we scooped her up and brought her on her freedom ride up north. Now, she is in a foster home awaiting her happily furever after!
Honey Bee is as sweet and affectionate as her name implies! She just wants to be with her person and yearns for human attention and love. Honey Bee can never get enough pets and belly rubs. She is super friendly with everyone she meets and just wants to be part of your world. Honey Bee can be laidback, but will also happily zoom around the yard for playtime. She likes other dogs, as long as they're calm. She is not a fan of high energy pups that don't respect her space.
After being in the shelter for over five months, adjusting to life in a home has been a bit challenging for Honey Bee. She will require an adopter who understands decompression time and will be patient as she figures things out. She appears to have separation anxiety so she'll need someone who is home a lot. Honey Bee is also a super high flight risk dog. She cannot be left unattended in a yard - you should either have an 8ft.+ fence (she can easily jump a 6ft.) or must be able to walk her daily.
Honey Bee just needs someone to give her a chance. Please consider visiting this precious pup and making her apart of your hive. Her adoption is $350 and Honey Bee is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm treated.
