I am an owner surrender, not because I did anything wrong, my previous family had to make some hard decisions. A great rescue happily took me in and found a foster for me.

When I first entered the rescue, I had a mass on my stomach. It was removed and for two weeks I had to wear a daisy collar around my neck. Once the vet said I was healed, my foster mom let me run in the yard like the other dogs. That was the best day ever, I love being outside in the yard. I run around the yard as fast as I can until I am exhausted. It is fun saying hello to all the neighbors when they walk by. I also love to cuddle with my human. I do not like what my foster mom is watching, but I love to lay in her lap and nap. I do not play with toys, I am too old for that, but I love to hide the toys from the other dogs. I am still being potty trained, my foster mom said I am doing a wonderful job. I will sleep in the kennel, although it is not my favorite place, I sleep through the night, I sit when asked, and I come when I am called.
Although, foster mom says I am a good girl, I have a couple habits on which I am working. I am food aggressive. I growl at the other dogs when they come near me or my bowl when food is involved. I also do not like to share my human. I will growl and let the other dogs know that foster mom is my human, and I do not want to share. Do not worry, I have great listening ears, and I am making great progress correcting my habits.

I would love my forever home to have a fenced in backyard, running around in the yard, is my favorite thing to do. I hope my forever home as another dog, not too many dogs, I forget my manners when there are too many dogs around. I am a beautiful long-legged girl who wants a family of my own. I will listen and cuddle with you.

Honey is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and
heartworm negative. She is being fostered in Galloway, OH
and is available for an adoption fee of $300.00.
If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application
online at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org ***Petfinder/
RescueMe inquiries are NOT considered applications and may
not be responded to***
