Honey 's Story

ID 60129155

Meet Honey! This stunning young Belgian Malinois was a surrender to the shelter and shelter life is less than ideal for this breed. She does not present well on her kennel and wants to micromanage everything around her and, most of all, wants out to release her pent up energy and drive. She is strong, and will need work on her leash manners as she focuses on everything around her.

Honey loves yard time. She loves to fetch certain toys, and will engage in a good game of tug. Tug. She knows sit, will take treats, and will need more training to engage her mind, and engage with her energy and enthusiasm.

This lady is intense but also cuddly along with accepting praise. She has also shown she is intense around other dogs, and is quite bossy. She will take control and shows much of her true Belgian side. It might be best for her to start in a home as an only dog or with the proper match. She also has noticeable prey drive so a home without cats /small animals might be best.

Honey needs to go to a home with breed experience and understanding of what she needs to succeed. If you are interested in her, or in meeting her, please email pevolaba@gmail.com. Submit an application with prior experience with the breed or with large breed Shepherd knowledge/experience.
