Honey's Story

Honey is a loving and sweet Pitbull Mix. She’s estimated to be around 4 years old, and is medium sized, weighing 50lbs. Honey made it to her foster home after living a very sad life of neglect in terrible outdoor living conditions. She was eventually abandoned by her owners and rescued so she can find a better life. Honey has all her necessary vet care and she’s now learning all about the good life in her foster home! Despite her awful past this girl is full of love and happiness. She is great with kids and people and loves to be by your side! Honey is fully crate-trained, potty-trained and she is learning her basic obedience commands. She will need continued work on her leash manners but she is improving.

Honey has many wonderful traits that will make her a great addition for a lucky family. She is great in the car, she loves a bath and won’t jump on furniture without permission. Honey is an energetic girl and she loves to play and rough-house so a fenced yard and/or regular walks are required for this active pup! She has done well interacting with submissive medium/large dogs but she does have a high prey drive so no kitties or tiny dogs, please. Honey would love a home with kids age 10+ (she may accidentally knock down a little one with her exuberance). As you can see in her photos, this girl is a sweetheart who only wants to be loved. Honey is a smart and deserving dog who deserves to know nothing but love going forward.

Honey is fully vetted -- spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at www.SOHFGA.com.
