Honey's Story

Honey is a very sweet and mellow girl as her name would suggest. She is house trained, kennel trained, and shy at first with other dogs but does do well if they’re respectful.

She was surrendered from a horrible breeder where she was forced to have litter after litter with no medical attention or love… her foster has since changed Honeys outlook on life and she is ready for her forever!

From her foster:
Honey, but as my foster mom calls me Honey Bunny Biscuit Girl
• ! I've had a
pretty tough start... I used to live outside in a crate and used to have lots of puppies, so Ive been a little scared of humans. But guess what? I'm learning! I still jump when hands come near me, but I really want pets and snuggles, I just don't know how to ask (I'm trying, promise!).
I looove other dogs, they make me feel brave, and I match their play style perfectly. I make funny little grunts and snuffles, and I'm not much of a barker... just a little when a stranger shows up at the door. I'm super chill too, I go potty outside right away and curling up on the couch? Bliss. But when l'm outside, I come alive! I skip, frolic, and twirl around, feeling free for the first time in my life.
I'd be happiest in a home with a fenced yard and a friendly dog buddy. The camera really does add 10 pounds, l'm not as big as I look. Im about 30 pounds & need to put on a little weight. I'm about 5 years old, full of wrinkles (Shar Pei perks!), I do well with cats, and I'm bursting with love. I'm ready to find my forever family, someone who will laugh at my little noises, give gentle pets, and share lots of cozy couch time.
