Honey's Story

Meet Honey! Weight: 30 lbs Age: Approximately 1–2 years old Honey is a gentle soul with a heart as sweet as her name and is just about 30 pounds. This petite black beauty may start out a little shy, but give her a few minutes — and maybe a soft voice or a tasty treat — and she’ll melt right into you. We do not know a lot of Honey's background as she was found wandering the reservation but, we suspect she had a home at some point based on her behavior. Once she trusts you, her tail starts wagging, her eyes brighten, and she’ll happily follow you around just to be near you. Honey is calm, affectionate, and easy to please — the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention, she just wants to know she’s safe and loved. She knows some basic commands and loves to show off how smart she is! Honey is great on a leash, polite, and has the perfect mix of gentle energy and snuggle-bug personality. She would thrive in a quieter home or with someone who understands that sometimes the sweetest dogs just need a little patience to blossom.
