Hondo

Hondo is pleased to make your acquaintance! This unique looking pup is in search of a permanent address to call his own. Hondo has been neutered, vetted, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. The last box for Hondo to check off is to find a family of his very own. Keep your eye out for his siblings listings as well! <br/><br/>Here is what we know about HONDO:<br/><br/>- Hondo is @ 13 weeks old now, and weighs about 18lbs. He is the largest of his siblings.<br/><br/>- Hondo and his siblings were surrendered to rescue as young pups, and have been growing and thriving while awaiting their forever homes. We don't know much about their parents, but best breed guesses would be catahoula terrier mixes, likely with lots of pixie dust thrown in there as well. <br/><br/>- Mom is on the smaller side, and based on these pups current sizes we expect them to end up about medium sized when full grown, likely 35-45lbs or so. They all have nice solid builds and would be perfect companions for active families. <br/><br/>- Hondo is a happy, healthy, and rambunctious pup who will need a family up to the fun challenges of puppyhood! <br/><br/>- Hondo is very much still a puppy so he will need lots of training and reinforcements to learn proper doggy manners and behavior when he gets to his forever home. He is smart and eager to please, but his new family will need to have patience as he learns. <br/><br/>- Hondo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.<br/><br/>- Hondo currently lives happily in his foster home with other dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think he would do fine as an only dog, but he would love a playmate who could handle some puppy playtime!<br/><br/>- Hondo and his siblings have been exposed to cats, and would likely do fine with a dog savvy cat who could tolerate some puppy antics! <br/><br/>- Hondo would make a great family dog for kids 6+ who won't be intimidated by his size and are old enough to understand doggy boundaries. <br/><br/>- Hondo would love to have a fenced in yard of his own, with kids to play with and a family who will take him on adventures with them to help him burn off energy. <br/><br/>What we love about Hondo: He is the full puppy package! <br/><br/>Is Hondo the one for you?
