In a couple of weeks, I’ll quietly pass an anniversary I never wanted — nearly one year of calling the shelter home.<br/>Here’s who I am:<br/> Almost 2.5 years old, and still waiting for my life to really begin<br/> About 60 lbs of joy that has nowhere to go<br/> Runs with volunteers, my favorite moments of the week<br/> Rides well in the car.<br/> Friendly with other dogs after a proper meet, because I love having company<br/> Best with kids 10+ who can match my happy energy<br/> No cats — I get a little too excited, but I promise I mean well<br/> Knows sit and takes treats gently, hoping each one comes from my person<br/>When the lights go out, I curl up in my kennel and wait again. I’ve been holding onto hope for so long. Please don’t let it run out!!
