Homer's Story

Meet Homer 🤍
Some dogs carry their story in their eyes, and Homer is one of them.

Homer came to us with what we believe were seven members of his family, all of them abandoned on the side of a rural road with no one coming back for them. He leans in for affection. He watches for familiar faces. He trusts us -- and that trust is something we cherish deeply.

But as much as he loves us, he deserves more.
He deserves to belong to someone, not just someplace.

Homer is ready for a forever home -- one that will let him continue to grow, learn, and love at his own gentle pace. He doesn't need much. Just patience, kindness, and someone who understands how special that moment is when a once-lost dog finally knows he's home.Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee.

Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!
