Holly in Colorado's Story

Holly is a very healthy old lady with a zest for life and a spunky attitude. She’s very energetic; bouncing around and spinning in excitement whenever her people are around. She has done very well with both other (smallish) dogs and children. She is feisty and confident and it has been a pleasure to watch her personality emerge. She loves curling up on the couch as much as she loves going for her twice daily walks. She is a surprisingly good leash walker and likes going into her warm carry bag when she goes on longer walks with her foster-brother.

She’s pretty affectionate and seems like she might be part cat- she enjoys perching on the back of the couch to be in the highest point of the room and she is very capable of climbing up onto the dinner table to grab the pancakes that were left unattended by the abovementioned child.

Holly will do really well in a home where she will get lots of individual attention and the chance to get outside into the world on regular walks. She does well when left alone for a few hours and doesn’t seem to exhibit any separation anxiety- she is content to be on your lap, or in her own bed in the other room, snoring blissfully.

Holly is spayed, fully vaccinated, and is up-to-date on all of her veterinary care.
