Holly (fka Daria), is a joyful, enthusiastic, little girl! Holly was seen by a caring individual being dumped on the side of the road, left with only a bag of food. But her smile says it all! Holly has never met a dog or person she didn't like - and what she loves MOST is soaking up cuddles on the couch and trying out being a lap dog. She is eager to please, food motivated and fully crate, and potty trained. Holly knows basic commands including sit, stay, down, and paw. <br/><br/>Holly loves to play whether it's by herself, with another pup, or with a human. When her foster is busy, she'll gladly settle for tossing toys alone or destroying them. Self-entertaining is truly such a gift for a young dog to have! She's a vocal player and welcomes a game of tug or a good game of chase around the yard. With pups, she's rough and rowdy - so not all dogs taste for a play romp but she is also perfectly fine being near dogs without playing, making her suitable for dog heavy locations!<br/><br/>Despite her exuberance, Holly is a medium-high energy girlie. She recently moved from a suburban neighborhood to a busy area of DC and she has thrived in both. Holly's current foster has found she will settle quickly after some activity - whether a 30 min. walk, a mile run, or some intense tug. Then she's down to snooze away. She's still a young pup who needs her daily exercise and is working on how to channel her exuberance in meetings. <br/><br/>Holly's foster mom says she is a dream dog! The perfect house guest, friendly with humans, and with dogs.
