Holly's Story

Say hello to Holly, a petite sweetheart who has been with us since late October and is wondering when her turn for a forever home will finally come. ?

Holly may look like a big dog in photos, but she is actually on the smaller side. Her size is perfect for someone who loves the “big dog energy” without the big dog footprint. She is under a year old and full of friendly curiosity.

She has been doing great in our play yards and gets along very well with other dogs. If you already have a dog at home who would love a buddy, Holly could be the perfect match. ?

Since she is still young, she will benefit from the basics like crate training and continued structure. The good news is she is at the ideal age to learn all of it, and we have no doubt she will pick things up quickly. She is eager to please, loves affection, and has a heart that is ready to attach to her person.

Holly has waited long enough. If you would like to meet her, come visit during our open hours and let her charm you in person. Her tail will be wagging the second you walk in. ??

Holly weighs 37 pounds at eleven months old. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative.

Located at the Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter in Brownsville, Tennessee. The adoption fee is $75. We have no pull fee and can help arrange transport for local 501c3 rescue groups. If interested in this dog please call 731-772-2908, we would love to hear from you! Please share this dog to help them find their forever home.

Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
All dog/puppy adoption fees are $60, which covers all vetting done prior to adoption. Cat/kitten fees are $35. The adoption fee covers majority of the spay/neuter cost at any of our local vets. In order to adopt a pet from us, you must fill out an adoption application for the animal you are interested in, and be approved. Once you are approved, you will be allowed to come visit the animal you are interested in, and make a decision. All animals are required to be spayed/nuetered upon adoption. NO exceptions. We usually allow adopters to take animals home the same day as their meet and greet, but will not hold any animals for potential adopters unless their fee has already been paid.
