Holly came to Rescue when her owner lost her home, due to foreclosure. She can not care for or offer Holly the home she needs. Holly is a young 'Guardian Breed dog. She's been living on a farm, as a guardian, used to living with livestock, smaller animals, dogs and cats. Her breed is highly intelligent and not meant for the 1st time dog owner.
The Kangal Shepherd Dog is a traditional Turkish breed of large livestock guardian dog. The breed name derives from that of the town and district of Kangal in Sivas Province, the easternmost province of the Central Anatolia Region in central Turkey.
Temperament: Protective, Alert, Sensitive, Independent, Calm, Self-Controlled
