Meet Holly<br/><br/>Holly is a sweet easy-going Hound who is a joy to have around. She’s 8 – 10 years old, weighing about 65 lbs. Holly is the perfect combination of “couch potato,” watch dog, and companion.<br/><br/>Holly’s favorite activities include lounging around on any one of her dog beds, going for walks with her human (although she needs more practice to perfect this skill!), going for car rides, and hanging outside and barking at trees, to ensure no squirrels or racoons infiltrate her yard.<br/><br/>Holly is great with other calm, mild-mannered dogs. She is not fond of active annoying dogs who bother her, particularly when she is napping.<br/><br/>Characteristic of Hounds, Holly enjoys barking but her barking is triggered by an event such as mealtime, wildlife teasing her, or visitors to her foster home.<br/><br/>An ideal forever family for Holly is one that LOVES Hounds and has experience with the breed. A large securely fenced (above ground) yard, and possibly a canine companion would be ideal for Holly. However she would do ok as an only dog too. Holly may enjoy older children, but she may not tolerate smaller children very well.<br/><br/>Although a senior, Holly is in overall good health, up-to-date on vaccinations.
