Holly's Story

Holly is a 9-month-old black Lab mix weighing about 50 pounds, with a heart as big as her puppy eyes. She came to us as a stray, but she’s quickly shown us just how special she is. This sweet girl is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever people.

Holly can be a little shy when she first meets new folks, but give her a minute and her gentle, affectionate personality shines through. She even tried her paw at being a “store dog” at a local feed store. While she took her job seriously and made sure everyone knew when a customer walked in, we think she’s better suited for a home where she can relax and be her lovable self.

She’s housetrained, rate-trained, well-mannered, and eager to please. Like any young dog, Holly will benefit from continued training and socialization from a family committed to helping her grow into a confident adult dog. With patience, consistency, and a few treats (okay, maybe more than a few), she’s going to thrive.

If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly shy, medium-sized companion who’s ready to learn and love, Holly might just be your girl. Come meet her and see if she’s the missing piece to your pack.

If you are interested in meeting Holly, please complete our adoption application: https://arfhumane.org/arf-adoption-application/
