Holland's Story

Meet Holland — the comeback kid with the wiggliest butt in town.

This medium‑energy, medium‑size‑when‑grown pup is equal parts silly, sweet, and determined. Holland started life outdoors and had a rough go of it — malnourished, underweight, bowlegged, battling every worm imaginable, a double ear infection, a flea takeover, and the heartbreak of losing many siblings. But don’t let his past fool you. Holland decided he’s a thriving puppy era kind of guy now.

Today, Holland is all about the good stuff: treats, playtime, and other dogs (seriously, he thinks every dog is his new best friend). He’s crate trained, and while potty training is still a work in progress, he’s trying hard and celebrates every success like he just won a gold medal.

Holland’s vibe is “fun but not chaotic.” He’ll romp, wrestle, and trot, then plop for snuggles like he’s auditioning for a role as your favorite couch potato.

He’s looking for a family who loves a charming, resilient, dog‑loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger future. Holland survived the hard part — now he’s ready for the happy part.

If interested, please
complete the
Adoption Application
on our website at
www.NeedyPaws.org
and we will contact you.
Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.
