Meet Holkan — Our Mayan Warrior with the Biggest Heart<br/>Holkan is an incredible 1-year-old mixed breed who came straight from the jungles of Mexico. As a tiny puppy, he survived a traumatic brain injury and thanks to a full year of dedicated rehab with the amazing team at Isla Animals, he has grown into the most wonderfully goofy, joyful, perfectly perfect pup.<br/>He may occasionally trip over his own feet, but don’t let that fool you—Holkan is 100% puppy spirit and 100% love. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Holkan is good with all animals but not a fan of the rain just yet, Don't worry he’s learning to tolerate it like a champ.<br/>We believe that Holkan would be best with a fenced in yard so he can run & play to his hearts content.<br/>Holkan is sweet, resilient, silly, and ready for his forever home. Whoever adopts him will truly be getting a warrior with a heart of gold.
