Holiday Bambi

Hi! My name is <b>Holiday Bambi</b> because I am the first ever holiday dog rescued by <b>Ken-Mar Rescue</b> and because I look like a little deer.<p><br/><br/><b>Ken-Mar Rescue</b> will rescue one special needs dog every holiday season, starting with me, so I'm the first one to commemorate the tradition!<p><br/><br/>I don't look so good in this picture because I was in excrutiating pain after being run over by a car. My leg was splintered in pieces and had to amputated. I am now a tri-paw'd. I will walk fine and will have a complete recuperation, thanks to all the folks that pitched in to help pay for my surgery.<p><br/><br/>I was scheduled to be euthanized within 24 hours of arriving at the shelter because they didn't think anyone would step forward to help me out. <b>Ken-Mar Rescue</b> got the email for help, raised the money and got me to a great vet who took me right away and helped me get on the mend.<p><br/><br/>I'm staying at a great foster parent who loves me. All I could hope for now is to have a "fur-ever" family who will let me protect them and bark at strangers when they're at the door.
