This lovable lug is sweet, friendly, and absolutely thriving on love (and maybe a few too many treats… no judgment, Hogan, we’ve all been there).<br/><br/>Hogan has mastered the art of chill, but don’t let his laid-back vibe fool you—get him in the yard and zoomies happen. We’re talking full-speed gallops with the grace of a fluffy freight train. He’s basically an Olympic sprinter… for about 45 seconds.<br/><br/>He’s clearly been well loved (and well fed—he’s working on slimming down, beach bod pending), and now he’s ready to trade in shelter life for belly rubs, walks, and a new best friend.<br/><br/>If you’ve got snacks, a yard, and a heart big enough for this gentle giant, Hogan’s already halfway to your couch.<br/><br/>Hogan is a 5 year old Lab mix and weighs 71 lbs. He needs to meet any potential dog siblings and no cats for this guy.<br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives?
