Hocus's Story

Meet Hocus – Your Tiny Couch Potato with a Heart of Gold!

Looking for a sweet little shadow who would rather cuddle on the couch than run a marathon? Well, say hello to Hocus!

Hocus is a petite Shepherd mix (our best guess!) with the sweetest personality and the most precious little soul. She’s a gentle, calm girl who believes the perfect day consists of belly rubs, cozy blankets, and binge-watching your favorite TV shows. Netflix and snuggles? SIGN HER UP!

Hocus can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but underneath that timid exterior is an absolute sweetheart just waiting to feel safe and loved. She’s sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so a quieter home with older, respectful children would be ideal.

What about other dogs? Hocus is dog friendly! However, she would do best with a calm, respectful canine companion who understands personal space and boundaries. She’s not looking for a roommate who thinks WWE wrestling matches are an appropriate way to say good morning. She appreciates a dog who can read the room, respect her space, and let her come around at her own pace.

Once she feels comfortable, you’ll discover just how affectionate and easygoing this little lady truly is. She doesn’t ask for much—just a comfy couch, a gentle hand for belly rubs, and someone who will love her at her own pace.

Hocus isn’t looking for a wild adventure. She’s looking for her safe place, her favorite person, and a lifetime of cozy evenings together.

If you’re looking for a gentle, low-key little companion with endless love to give, Hocus might just be your perfect match!

Available for adoption through Saving the “Aggressive” Breeds Rescue in Charlotte, NC.

Apply to adopt at www.stabrescue.com
